Take advantage of your dental insurance coverage; make sure you’ve used your entire benefit amount before the end of the year. Insurance benefits do not rollover from year to year, so it is up to you to keep track.
Maybe a last-minute cleaning that was missed and never rescheduled, or finally taking care of that temporary crown that’s 4 months overdue, whatever it is just make sure you’re using the maximum benefit allowed to you every year – you’re paying for it already, use it!
In most cases, the insurance companies won’t notify you to let you know that you have available benefits remaining – and about to expire. Don’t waste your hard-earned money, check your plan or contact your dentist for any 2010 remaining balances.
