The Tooth Fairy is Not Real...Tell Your Kids by Social Dental Network

Yes, you should tell your children the truth about the Tooth Fairy!

Parents do their best to shield their kids from some of the less than savory facts of life, sometimes too much.

But is that really the best course of action?
Don’t kids deserve to know the hard truths of life as soon as possible?

They probably already know anyway, just look at how this 9 year old amateur detective pulled a doozy on his parents when he had suspicion that the Tooth Fairy was not real…

Telling your kids that the Tooth Fairy is not real won’t have some huge impact on their life, but given the 20 – or more – baby teeth we as humans have, it will have an impact on your wallet.

The Tooth Fairy Trades Money for Teeth

In 1900 the Tooth Fairy left an average of twelve cents. In 1998, the Tooth Fairy left an average of one dollar.

Cash payouts to the Tooth Fairy peaked at an all-time high average of $4.66, in 2016.

As of the writing of this post, in 2018, the average take per lost tooth for this so-called Tooth Fairy cops is $4.16.

That’s $83.20 you’re shelling out to this fantasy tooth gypsy! And for what? Because your child lost one of their teeth?

In their survey of more than 3000 parents, Visa cites current household economic conditions and something they refer to as the “parental trap” being responsible for this increase in fiduciary tooth fairy gain.

But that’s not the only reason why you should tell your kids the truth about the Tooth Fairy.

The Tooth Fairy Runs A Global Tooth Trade Syndicate

Parents should tell their kids the truth about how the Tooth Fairy has been exposed in her global children’s teeth acquisition ring.

You wouldn’t want your kids to grow up thinking it’s perfectly acceptable to break into someone’s house, sneak into their bedroom while they’re sleeping, then take something of inherent value only to replace it with some arbitrary amount of money would you?

She enlists a global syndicate of cutouts, red herrings, & shills disguised as other kid-friendly characters and Tooth Fairy conciglieres.

Don’t fall for the aw shucks demeanor of this Caraboose guy, he’s one of them, and he’s been exposed too.

I know, I interviewed the author who penned the Tooth Fairy expose.
